  Ceil M. Meulemans, Wright stown, age 83, died Sunday morning, November 3, 1996 at the St. Paul ho me in Kaukauna. She was born on November 21st, 1912 on a farm near Freedo m, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Henry G. and Wilhelmina (Weyers) Ve rhagen. The former Cecilia Mary Verhagen and Norbert S. Meulemans were un ited in marriage on September 2nd, 1937 at St. Nicholas Catholic Chur ch in Freedom and the couple spent their lives on a farm near Wrightstow n. Ceil was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown and the C hristian Mother's Society at the church. She was a former member of St. P aul's Martha choir and was a member of the Wrightstown Golden Agers. Ce il is survived by her husband, Norbert, whom she shared 59 years of marria ge and their seven children and spouses, Vernon and Monica Meulemans, of W rightstown, Donna and Paul Uitenbroek, of Darboy, Kenneth and Mary Lynn Me ulemans, of rural DePere, Diane and Jerome Schreiber, of Darboy; Joyce a nd Glenn Hansen, of Kaukauna; Dennis and Chris Meulemans, of Whitelaw, Je ff and Carol Meulemans, of Wrightstown; 36 grandchildren and 34 great-gran dchildren She is also survived by two sisters Agatha Nussbaum, of Kaukaun a, Millie (Ervin) DeBruin, of Appleton, seven brothers, Ben (Margie) Verha gen, of Kaukauna, Larry (Gladys) Verhagen, of Kaukauna, Father Norbert Ver hagen, of Los Altos Calif., Raymond Verhagen, of Appleton, Father Donald V erhagen, Milwaukee, Richard (Monnie) Verhagen, of Kaukauna, Sylvester (Min erva) Verhagen, of Kaukauna, a sister in law, Rose Verhagen; along with nu merous nieces and nephews and many special friends. Ceil was preced ed in death by two great-grandchildren: Ben and Erin; a sister and broth er in law, Martha and Ignatius Schuh, three brothers and a sister-in-law L loyd and Doris Verhagen, Francis in infancy and Edward, a brother in law R ay Nussbaum. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at St. Paul Cath olic Church in Wrightstown until the time of service. Concelebrated Ma ss of Christian burial will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church wi th her brothers: Father Norbert Verhagen and Father Donald Verhagen alo ng with St. Paul pastor Father Elroy Reimer as celebrants. Burial wi ll be Wednesday in St. Paul parish cemetery. Seven of Ceil's grandson's w ill serve at as pallbearers, Dan Meulemans, Tony Uitenbroek, Mike Meuleman s, Greg Schrieber, Jim Hansen, Abe Meulemans, and Kyle Meulemans. In li eu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been established. Mother, we call her, b ut other titles she has acquired; Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, musicia n, choir member, a chef, a gardener, and faithful wife. What wonderful tr easures she left each of us to carry on her strong spirit.Your memory wi ll always be in our hearts.
