You mention that you're looking for pictures (I grew up in Ozaukee Co .; live inSheboygan Co. now) . . . what types?I did some checking and this mista ke I noticed in your posting had to have come from a typo I sent you lo ng ago. Andreas Helein was only married to Magdalena Galles. The Magdale na Stemper I must have gave you is wrong. T hey very well could have been here in 1850 based on Michaels's biograph y. Next time I'm down in Port, I'll check at the courthouse to see if an ything exists. I have an 1873 Belgium, Ozaukee Co. plat map and son Willi am islisted as owner which more than likely was original homestead. Myself a nd two other researchers believe there is a connection with Magdalena (Gal les) Helein and the other Galles' from this area. I have headstone pictu re of a Nicholas Galles who died in 1899 before the inscription was defac ed (tried cleaning the moss off the face) by a well intentioned but misgui ded individual. I believe this was Magdalena's father. Also have a pictu re of her headstone from Black Creek, Outagamie Co., but the birth month a nd day differ from a birth certificate from Wellenstein, Lux. which we thi nk is her as well.
