  At the residence of her son, Mathias Jaeckels, in the town of Woodville, Calumet county, on Sunday the 8th inst., Mrs. Anna Jaeckles mother of Jacob Jaeckels of this city, age 81 years. The deceased was born in Moselthal, Prussia, and emigrated with her children to Woodville in 1863, where she resided until her departure for the better land. She left five children surviving her-four sons, all of whom reside in this county and one daughter who resides in Germany. She was a true Christian of the Roman Catholic belief and an excellent wife and mother as well as a sincere friend and a good neighbor.
