  Ambrose De Groot. 15. Combined Locks, drowned in the Fox river at Little Chute about 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon after his improvised sailboat tipped1 over. Three companions swam to safety. Sail boat Capsizes The De Groot boy. son of Mr. about 2 o clock Saturday afternoon in the Fox river between Little Chute and the Combined Locks Turn to page 4 col 1 dam. He had been sailing with three companions, Charles Ver- beten, John Smaxwell, and Russ- ell Weyenberg. The boys were able to swim. but De Groot went down as they tned to make shore after the wind capsized their boat. The body was recovered within an hour. An inhalator of the Little Chute Fire department was used but without success. The victim was a sophomore of the Kimberly High School. Survivors besides the parents are six brothers, Adrian, Maurice, Lawrence. Paul, Jack and Eugene, and five sisters; Ella, Evelyn, Ther- esa. Grace and Mary Lou, all at home. Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning at the St. Paul Catholic church. Combined Locks. The Rev. John De Wild will be in charge and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
