  Ertl, Anthony C. “Tony”Anthony C. “Tony” Ertl, age 59, of Spring Lake, MI, passed away unexpected ly Sunday, September 11, 2005, in Elk Rapids. Tony was born September 8, 1 946, to Cletus and Eunice (DeBruin) Ertl in Little Chute, WI; and he marri ed Bonnie M. Wolf in 1968 in Wisconsin. He served in the National Guard du ring the Vietnam War; and he had been employed by McKinley Trucking. He w as formerly employed in the leather industry.Tony was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake; and he lov ed music - the accordion, guitar, and banjo. He enjoyed fishing, golfin g, and his grandchildren.Survivors include his wife Bonnie; daughter, Tracee (Mike) Cole of Ypsilan ti, MI; son, Brian Ertl of Spring Lake, MI; grandchildren, Tylor and Brenn on Cole; his parents, Cletus and Eunie Ertl of Wisconsin; five sisters: Ar lene (Dan) Merkel, Jane (Don) Polinski, Sue (Dave) Laha, Rosie (Vince) Lam ers and Carol Martin, all of Wisconsin; his brother, Billy Ertl of Wiscons in; several nieces and nephews.A funeral liturgy for Anthony C. “Tony” Ertl will be celebrated at 1 p. m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Spring Lake, with Rev. Leona rd Sudlik as celebrant. Friends may meet the family at church one hour pri or to the service.
