  Robert Joseph Klein, Menasha Age 72, died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at Vallhaven Care Center after a brief illness. He was born November 7, 1928, in Grand Chute, son of the late Michael and Anna (Croell) Klein. Bob married Joanne Bahr on November 26, 1960. He retired in 1990 after 28 years of employment in Maintenance at Theda Clark Medical Center. Bob enjoyed trap shooting and riding motorcycles, even up to his 72nd birthday. He was an avid reader of historical and military events. Bob's greatest joy out of life was being a loving husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Joanne; four children, Bart Klein, Menasha; Jennifer (Frank) Powell, Milwaukee; Sarah Klein, Milwaukee; Matthew Klein, Menasha; triplet grandsons, Nicholas, Victor and Jacob Powell; his beloved dog, Jacques; two sisters, Dolores VanHammond and Evalyn Couillard; a brother, James (Dawn) Klein; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene; two brothers-in-law, Marshall VanHammond and Eugene Couillard. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2001, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
