  Luckow, Kermid "Luke" Kermid Luckow, age 82, of Appleton, passed away Friday, November 16, 2007, at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Kermid was born January 18, 1925, in Oshkosh, WI, the son of the late Arnold and Viola (Ott) Luckow. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Navy in Okinawa. On August 16, 1946, Kermid was united in marriage to Betty Briggs, sharing 61 years together. He had been employed in the management department of the Fox River Paper Co. for many years. Kermid loved wood working, hunting, fishing, the Packers, our cottage, and traveling in our motor home. He is survived by his wife Betty; three children: Gary (Lynn) Luckow of Appleton, Judy (Dennis) Resch of New London, and Sandy Kunstman of Olathe, Kansas; six grandchildren and soon to be seven great-grandchildren; two adopted children, Deanna and Randy and a brother, Jerry (Kay) Luckow; a brother-in-law, Woody Wheelock; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kermid was preceded in death by triplet sisters, 2 sisters, a brother and a brother-in-law. Respecting Kermid's wishes their will be no funeral or visitation. A celebration of his life will held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cherry Meadows Hospice for their wonderful compassionate care and thoughtfulness. Also a special thank you to Brooke. Luke, Sixty-one years is a long time. Remember we joked it was forever. We've had a lot of hard times and good times. We loved traveling in our motor home with friends and family. We've been through blindness and deafness but we made it. Now until I see you again. I Love You......
