  Alice J. (Gengler) Miller was born November 16, 1932, in Appleton, Wisconsin and died October 7, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from Appleton West High School in 1951 and was employed at W.T. Grant and Rich's, Appleton, WI. In 1980, she moved to Las Vegas with her husband and dog, Cindy. She then was employed by J.C. Penney until her retirement. Alice had many hobbies, but enjoyed people the most. Alice is survived by a sister, Evelyn Hermus, Kimberly, WI; sisters-in-law: Betty Pfankuch, Menasha; Catherine (Jim) Glasheen; brother-in-law, Charles (Karen) Miller, Appleton, WI; many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Roger R.; parents, Margaret (Ulman) and Edward J. Gengler; sister, Dolores L. Van Eperen; and sister-in-law, Patricia (Hank) Verhyen. Alice was laid to rest next to her husband, Roger R. at Palms Cemetery, on October 19th in Las Vegas.
