  Mrs. Mary Berg, 36, mother of eight children, the youngest only two weeks old, died at her home in the town of Grand Chute Sunday after noon of scarlet fever. The daughter of the late Frank Gitter, Sr., of Hortonia, she was married to Leo Berg in 1919. The couple immediately moved to the farm, in Grand Chute. Survivors include the widower; the children, Francis, Gerald, John, Jerome, Leo, Peter, Hubert and Carl, 2 weeks old; one sister, Celia; and three brothers, Anton and Joseph of Hortonia and John of Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Joseph church of Appleton. The funeral will be held at 10.30 Saturday morning at the Catholic cemetery, Hortonville. The Rev.
