  Marie L. De Leeuw, age 88, of Kimberly, died on December 21, 2008, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. Marie was born on August 21, 1920, in Kimberly, the daughter of the late Pete and Anne (Smits) Valentyne. She was a longtime member of the Ladies of Holy Name. Marie married Herman J. De Leeuw on July 23, 1940, in Kimberly Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Herman; her sons: Barry (Mary) De Leeuw, and Mark (Debbie) De Leeuw; her grandchildren: Paul (Suzanne) De Leeuw, Sarah De Leeuw, and Jeff (Kristy), David (Michele) and Amy (Tim) Otis; her great grandchildren: Lauren, Taylor and Jack; her brothers: Robert (Althea) Valendtyne, Donald (Audrey) Valentyne; her sisters: Harriet Thurner, Dorothy (Ann) Valentyne, and Elaine Hietpas; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Peter and Harry (Sis) Valentyne, and her brothers-in-law: Fabian Hietpas and Nick Thurner. A Memorial Mass will be said at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2008, at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church Cemetery, Kimberly. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Marie's name. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at St. Paul Home for their loving care.
