  Mrs. Herman Kamps (Hazel Dean) 525 N. Oneida Street Formerly of 1213 N. Appleton Street, age 85, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday following a lengthy illness. She was born August 3, 1894 in Appleton, where she had been employed by the Geenen Department Store until her retirement. Mrs. Kamps had been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include three daughters; Miss Mary Jane Kamps, Appleton; Mrs. Harlan "Sandy" (Helen) Sanderson, Neenah; Mrs. Norman (Vivian) Meinert, Kaukauna; a son, Dean Kamps, Appleton; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Herman Kamps, who had been the Outagamie County Clerk at the time of his death in 1929. A memorial mass will be at 10:30 a.m Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, with the Rev. Orville Janssen officiating. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund is being established.
