  Robert L. "Bob" Miller, Kaukauna, age 61, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 9, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born June 10, 1947 in Beloit, WI, son of Ollie and Sylvia (Koehn) Miller. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in The Vietnam War. On May 13, 1972, he was united in marriage to Susan M. Goerl. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Bob also loved gardening, working with his apple trees, and playing with his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife, Sue; his parents: Ollie and Sylvia Miller; a son, Jason, Kaukauna; a daughter, Missy (Chad) Cummings, Kaukauna; two grandchildren: Hayli and Gavin Cummings; a brother, Ben (Lynn) Miller, Kaukauna; a sister, Sherry Reitz, Waupaca; mother-in-law, Ceil Goerl; two brothers-in-law: David "Whitey" Goerl and Dan (Diane) Goerl; two sisters-in-law: Dot (Lee) Hackel and Jan (Leon) Propson. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roger Goerl. Memorial Service for Bob will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, with Rev. Keller of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
