  Donald J.Vonck, 64, died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida after a lingering illness. He was born January 27, 1946, in Appleton, the son of Norbert and Dolores (Robinson) Vonck. After graduating from Appleton West High School, he joined the Navy and served in Vietnam. He settled in Florida where he married Brenda Pearce. He was an avid golfer, excellent cook, loved fishing and spent many hours reading. His grandchildren were the joy of his life. Don is survived by his father Norbert (Edna) Vonck, Oconto Falls, children: Carrie LaBounty, Stacie Vonck, both Florida, his sister Mary (Don) Abel, Darboy, grandchildren: Lauren and Alexandra LaBounty and Alana Vonck. He was preceded in death by his mother Dolores Vonck, sister Joyce Dickson, brother James Vonck, nephew Andrew Vonck, and brother-in-law Harold Dickson. Funeral services were held in West Palm Beach, Florida.
