  Robert L. Ashman, 50 of Grand Chute, died Saturday July 14, 2012, at Cherry Meadows. He was born in Appleton, March 7, 1962, son of the late Raymond and Marion (Kobs) Ashman. Robert married Jennifer Schumaker on July 16, 2008. Robert worked at Oshkosh Truck as a warehouse supervisor at their Appleton facility for three years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Appleton, and a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. He enjoyed gardening, camping, and music, especially playing the drums. Robert is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his daughter, Stephanie; step-son, Jacob; three siblings, Sally (Roger) Fieck, Appleton, Tom (Sharon) Ashman, Neenah, and Sue (Duane) Hanke, Seymour; his dog, Ozzy; and several nieces, nephews, and Aunts. He was preceded in death by a brother, William. Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Ron Nielson of Zion Lutheran Church, Appleton officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
