  Denis J. Sexton, 77, one of the best known farmers in the town of Hortonia, where he lived for many years, died Thursday in Chicago (he was at Alexan Brothers Hospital undergoing an operation, and he died on the operating table). Funeral services will be held in St. Sebastian Church in Chicago Saturday morning, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body now is at the home of his sister-in-law, who lives at 1146 Addison Street, Chicago. Mr. Sexton was born in Ireland in 1845 and came to America in 1854. He lived in New York State for 2 years and then came to Wisconsin, where he had lived since, except for 17 years spent in Chicago. For many years, Mr. Sexton operated one of the largest farms in the town of Hortonia. Ten or twelve months ago, he retired and moved to New London. He recently moved to Hortonville, where he made his home until shortly before his death. Mrs. (Mary) Sexton (his wife from Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland) died in December 1919. Survivors include five sons: James, John, Martin, and Joseph Sexton, of Hortonville, and Dr. Francis D. Sexton of Clintonville; two daughters: Mrs. Thomas Flanagan (Ann), of Appleton, and Mrs. John Look (Mary) of Weyauwega.
