  Mrs. Johanna Fischer of Wells died Thursday at the age of 78 yrs. Decedent was born in Germany, coming to America with her husband in 1868 and settling in the town of Rockland, which has been her home ever since. Her husband Gottfried Fischer died about five years ago. She is survived by three sons, Leonard, Emil and Albert and an adopted son, Henry Schultz, all living in Rockland. Also one sister, Mrs. Aug. Nienow, living in faraway Brazil, South America. The funeral took place Sunday, services being conducted in the Rantoul Evangelical Church, Rev. Reichert conducting same.
