  Thomas Collar, age 49, of Appleton, passed into eternal life on Thursday, August 14, 2014. He was born on March 21, 1965 to the late Thomas Collar and Darlene Heuring. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1983. After high school, Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served for three years. Over the years, Tom worked as a cook for many establishments in the area. Thomas will always be known for his love of spending time with his family and friends. Thomas is survived by his Daughter: Nicole Mae Joas (Collar); His Brothers: Greg (Carmen) Collar, Mark Collar and Mark's special friend Debbie Madrigal; his sister Jolene (Tim) Carson; his stepbrothers: Mark (Jill) Heuring, Paul (Heidi) Heuring, Pat(Jenny) Heuring, and Mike Heuring; his stepsisters: Carol Heuring and Margaret (Steve) Resan; and his many loving nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother David Collar. A memorial gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, August 24, at COLONY OAKS PARK, 801 N. Briarcliff Drive, Appleton, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. We will celebrate Tom's life as he lived it; casual, simple and filled with love and laughter.
