  Biography	Find a Grave Headstone photo can be seen on this website along with other photos for this cemetery Per research: Trees on Ancestry give his name as Moses Little with date of birth as October 1857. However the inscription on the headstone photo has his name as Mose Little, with dates 1860 - 1940. Evidence from Family Histories indicate the 1857 date as more probably accurate. ~~~~~~ Moses mother Rebecca Biefield was born in England on Oct 12 1828. She immigrated to Canada where she met and married Thomas Little, his father, who had emigrated from Ireland, they married approx 1845. Together they had nine children, six of which were born in Canada of which Moses was one, and the last three were born in Black Creek WI. after the family immigrated to the US 1865. Rebecca died in Oshkosh, Winnebago Co WI on Sept 7 1875 as shown on her gravestone. Thomas died in Black Creek, WI in 1906 and is buried there. According to the 1870 US Census Moses moved to Sheridan, Poweshiek, IA. By 1880 he is in Hixon, Clark, WI, and finally to Shawano (between 1880 and his marriage in 1885 to Louise Mielke in Lessor, Shawano, WI). 1900 has him in Hutchins, Shawano, WI, then in 1910 Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wi (possibly to work with his brother John Little at John's sawmill), then before 1920 back to Red Springs, Shawano, WI where both census records show him married to Nellie French Little. By the 1930 US Fed Census records he is divorced and living with son Wilbur. He was living in Greshem, Shawano, WI where he died in 1940.
