  Margaret V. Kriehn, 86, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008, at Golden Living Center. She was born on September 7, 1922, to the late Archie E. and Mable (Brookhyser) Patterson in Appleton, WI. She was educated in schools of Appleton and graduated from Appleton High School. On July 3, 1948, she married Arnold J. Kriehn in Appleton. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1996. Margaret worked for H.C. Pranges Department Store in Appleton over 25 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton and an associate member of Grace Lutheran Church in Kenosha. Margaret was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Appleton for 58 years, a 25-year club member at Pranges Department Store. She enjoyed crocheting for the Appleton Veterans. Margaret loved spending time with her daughters. Margaret is survived by her daughters Jarlene Kriehn and Becky (Michael) McCarthy both of Kenosha; her sisters Virginia Cotton and RoseAnn Buss both of Appleton; her sister-in-law Verona Lillge of Appleton; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Donald, LeRoy, Howard, James and her sisters Dorothy in infancy and Pat Rankinen. Funeral Services for Margaret will be held on Friday, December 5th at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church (209 S Allen Street). Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Memorials would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association or to Trinity Lutheran Church.
