  See Image ACCIDENTS AND DROWNINGS TAKE FIVE LIVES IN STATE Milwaukee, July 3: - Automobile accidents and drownings took five lives in Wisconsin over the week-end and brought warnings from authorities asking motorists and swimmers to exercise care on Fourth of July trips. The victims were: Mrs. Ruth Ebert, 24-Stevens Point, who drowned when her automobile plunged through a guard rail into Springville pond four miles south of Stevens Point. John Anker, 38, Brillion, and Mike Krismoisli, 40. Hollandtown, who died in a Green Bay hospital after their automobile crashed into a truck near Brillion. Raymond Harnke, 10, Brillion, was injured in the crash, John Fakler, 23, Winona, Minn. who died of a skull fracture in a Waukesha hospital after his automobile collided with another car on Highway 19, east of Pewaukee, Joseph Miller, 25, of Moorhead, Minn., who was riding with Fakler was injured seriously. Eugene Sommer, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Sommer,Berlin, who drowned in the Fox river when a boat in which he was playing with his two brothers, capsized. JULY 3,1933 FUNERAL HELD AT BRILLION Services For Two Victims Of Accident Are Held Funeral services were held today for John Anker, 38, town of Brillion farmer, and Michael Kasczarcki 40, Hollandtown, Brown county victims of an automobile crash last Saturday, near Forest Junction Anker Is survived by his wife and stepson, Raymond Hernke, 10, who was riding with the two men in their car when it collided with a truck driven by Jerome Foester of Hilbert Junction. Kasczarcki is survived by his widow and a family of 15 children. Reports from Green Bay state that the condition of the Hernke boy, who has a fractured skull and Internal Injuries, still remains critical. Detailed reports of the accident show that Kasczarcki had been at the Anker farm in the afternoon, where he applied for work. He had been accepted and Anker was driving him back to his home where he intended to get his belongings. They were within a half mile of their destination when the accident happened, Foester sustained a ruptured right ear drum and his face was cut but he was released from the Green Bay hospital shortly after treatment. Anker was a new resident of the town of Brillion, He had come from Coleman three weeks ago to manage the farm of his father-in-law, Theodore Franzke.
