  Arlane L. Schroeder, age 76, formerly of Chilton, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. Arlane was born on August 22, 1933, in Alexandria, MN., daughter of the late Mano and Olive (Peterson) Lee. She married Conrad M. Skyberg in 1956 at Alexandria, MN. He preceded her in death. She married Wilmer Schroeder in 1975 at Chilton. Arlane was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton. Arlane enjoyed talking on the phone, walking with children, and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her six children. Survivors include her husband: Wilmer Schroeder, Chilton; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Pamela (Willie) Digby, Seagoville, TX; Debra Linzmeier, Fond du Lac; Elizabeth (Betty) and her husband Cole Keller, Warroad, MN; Donna (Doon) and her husband Gordy Kaasa, Puposky, MN; one son and two daughters-in-law: James (Kris) Skyberg, Manitowoc; Doris Skyberg, San Antonio, TX; sixteen grandchildren: Bill, Gina, Brandy, Jared and Dannah Digby; Desirae Iverson; Nathan and Jacob Sletten; Cheyenne Keeler; Matthew Skyberg; Dustin Kaasa; Jordan and Drew Skyberg; Aaron, Jesse, and Amanda Skyberg; ten great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Wayne (Gloria) Lee, Alexandria, MN; two sisters: DeLoris Wold, Alexandria, MN; Ruth Elie, St. Louis Park, MN. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Conrad M. Skyberg; one son: Marlow C. Skyberg; and two brothers: Norman Lee and Marvin Lee. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, September 28, 2009, at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 717 Memorial Drive, Chilton. Rev. Wayne K. Huebner will officiate with burial to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery, Chilton. Relatives and friends may call on Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting Arlane's family.
