  The news of the sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Math Brill of Kaukauna on Saturday evening, Dec. 20th, was a great shock to relatives and friends of the deceased in this section, most of whom were not aware that she was ill. Mrs. Brill was taken ill on Thursday preceding her death with blood poisoning which developed from an infection over her eyes and though she was given immediate medical attention she sank rapidly until relieved of her suffering on Saturday night. The body was brought to this city on Monday afternoon and was taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. John Davis on Court Street from which the funeral was held. Alta Baldock Brill, daughter of Mrs. J. W. Baldock of this city, was born on the Baldock homestead in Chilton town, Feb. 5, 1879 and remained with her parents until her marriage to Math. Brill on Nov. 24, 1913. They took up their residence at Kaukauna which city has since been her home. Mrs. Brill was an energetic, capable woman and a good wife and mother. She made friends wherever she was known and her untimely death will be a source of sorrow to them all. She was the mother of one child, a son, Eugene, aged six years, who with her husband survive her. She is also survived by her aged mother, Mrs. J. W. Baldock of this city, two brothers, Jay W. Baldock of Hilbert and Arthur Baldock of Chilton Town and one sister, Mrs. John Davis of this city. Chilton Times - December 1924
