  Mrs. Bertha Sturm 2175 N. U.S. Highway 41, Neenah Age 75, passed away at 6:20 this morning after a short illness. She was born in Germany on January 6, 1889, came to the U.S. in early youth, and lived in Appleton and vicinity all her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers Society. Survivors include; 1 daughter, Mrs. Lillian Steenis, Appleton; 1 son, Peter Guckenberg, Neenah; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ninna Lutzke and Mrs. Hedwig Fleischer, both of Berlin, Germany; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 at thei St. Joseph Catholic Church, the cortege forming at 9:30 at the Brettschneider -Trettin Funeral | Home where friends may call after 2 Wednesday afternoon. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Tues., Sept. 1, 1964, Appleton Post-Crescent, B-8 Woman Dies From Injuries After Accident APPLETON - Mrs. Bertha Sturm. 75, of Rt. 2, Menasha, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital here at 6:30 a.m. today of injuries she received in a traffic accident at the Trolier-Webster Street intersection, Green Bay, Sunday. Outagamie County Coroner Bernard H. Kemps said an autopsy will be made later today. Green Bay police said Mrs. Sturm was a passenger in a car driven by her daughter, Mrs. Steenis, 205 N. Appleton St., Appleton, which collided with a car driven by Leon J. Sharkey, Green Bay. Kemps said Mrs. Sturm was not believed to be seriously injured at the time of the accident. Mueller in Winnebago County Court Branch 1 Thursday. A daughter, Lillian Steenis, Appleton, received $12.900, and a son, Peter Guckenberg, Neenah, receives $21,109.
