Timothy L. Lancello, Oshkosh, formerly of Kaukauna, age 23, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 7, 2011. He was born July 7, 1987, in Appleton, son of David and Cheryl (VanDenEng) Lancello. Tim was a 2005 Kaukauna High School graduate. After graduation, he joined the US Army and was a proud member of the 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, where he completed two tours in Iraq. He currently was a student at UW-Oshkosh on the GI Bill. Tim loved being with his friends and family and making people laugh. He is survived by his parents, Dave and Cheryl, Kaukauna; twin brother, Torey and special friend, Amy Murkowski; a sister, Kailey and special friend, Rickie Pody; paternal grandparents: Ed and Diana Mrotek, Grafton; maternal grandparents: Clancy and Millie VanDenEng, Lake Charles, LA. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his aunt Marie Lancello. Funeral Services for Tim will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, with the Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name. Per Tim's request, Tim's organs were donated.
