  Wayne W. West, Freemont, Wi., formerly of Neenah and Appleton, age 57, w as born to eternal life Tuesday May 14, 1991 following a long illnes s. He was born June 15, 1933 in Appleton, son of Lawrence and the late Cec ilia (Quella)West. Wayne resided in Appleton and was a 1951 graduate of Ap pleton Senior High School. He later moved to Neenah where he was employ ed by the former American Can Co. and then seven years ago to Freemont whe re he owned and operated the Log Cabin Taverin. Wayne was a member of t he Waupaca County Tavern League and American Can Quarter Century Club. Wa yne will be remembered as a friendly loving person with a good sense of hu mor. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and will be deeply miss ed by his friends in Freemont, Neenah, andAppleton. Survivors include a daughter and a son in-law; Vicky and Ran dy Smestad, Libertyville, Ill.; two sons and a daughter in-law; Gary and T racy West, Hartland, Wi.; and Patrick West, Phoenix, Az.; his father, Lawr ence West, formerly of Neenah; six grandchildren; Adam, Andrea, Justin a nd Garrett Smestad, Nicholas and Erik West, four brothers and three siste rs in-law; Donald and Ruth West, Appleton; Marvin and Wanda West, Sauk Cit y, Wo.; Gene and Phyllis West, Appleton; Allen West, Neenah; a sister a nd brother in-law; Mary Ann and Gerald Gleason, Menasha.
