  Clark, Ralph L. "Guv"Ralph L. Clark, "Guv", Appleton, age 76, died Thursday, May 4, 2006, at h is home after a short battle with bone cancer. Ralph was born in Applet on on April 17, 1930, to the late Lewis and Marie (Verhagen) Clark. Ral ph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. On Septemb er 2, 1950, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Betty" Schiltz at S t. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. The couple has enjoyed over 55 yea rs together. Ralph worked as a Pressman for many years at Tuttle Pres s. He loved to travel with his wife Betty, especially trips to Wabeno, Ten nessee, Arizona, the Dakota's, Mexico and to the casino.He was a former member of South Side Athletic Club, and a Charter Memb er at St. Bernadette Church. Ralph was known for his great sense of hum or and quick wit, spreading smiles most anywhere he'd go.He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty, of Appleton; son, Jim (Marg e) Clark, and their children, Christina and Kevin of Green Bay; son, Jo hn (Judy) Clark and their children, Jonathan (Heather) Clark of Appleton a nd Jason Clark of Darboy; daughter, Jacci (Paul) Meier of Oconto and the ir children, Breanna and Jeremiah Dettman; daughter, Julie (Chris) Kilsdo nk and their sons, James and Joshua of Wrightstown; and daughter, Jane (Jo e) Coenen, of Kaukauna; brother, Harold Clark of Appleton. He is further s urvived by many nieces and nephews.Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Earl, his grandda ughter, Jennifer, and his sister-in-law, Jean Clark.A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, M ay 8, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton, wi th the Rev. Donald Zuleger officiating. Friends may visit at the Brettschn eider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel on Sunday, May 7, from 4 to 8 p.m., a nd directly at the church on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of serv ice. Interment will take place at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery, Kimberl y. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established."Thanks Dad, your humor has shown us that we can get through anything."
