  MRS. DANIEL VANDEHEYFuneral services for Mrs. Daniel Vandehey, 62, Colby, who died Friday even ing at St. Vincent s hospital in Green Bay after suffering a stroke Tuesd ay at the home of her son Maynard Vande hey in Green Bay, were held on Tue sday morning at 9:30 oclock at St. Marys Catholic churc h in Colby, The Re v. J. L. Lang officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.Mrs. Vandehey, the former Julia Laessig, was born in Wausau March 24, 187 9, and married Mr. V andehey in this village June 26, 1900. The couple pu rchased a farm in the town of Beaver, Clark county, and operated it 39 yea rs before retiring and moving to Colby. Survivors are th e widower; thr ee daughters, Mrs. Arthur Wiedenhoft of Colby, Sister M. Antilia of Spar ta an d Mrs. Frank Neibauer of Wisconsin Rapids; four sons, Maynard at hom e, and Lawrence, Harold a nd Ralph Vandehey of Los Angeles, Cal,; a siste r, Mrs. John Kissinger of Victoria, B. C. Cana da; two brothers, Frank a nd Charles Laessig of this village, and 15 grandchildren.Mrs. Vandehey was a member of the Christian Mothers society of St. Marys c hurch.
