Stephen L. Schreiter "Squat", passed away unexpectedly as a result of a motorcycle accident on Saturday, July 18, 2015. He was born on June 27, 1958 in Appleton to Tom and Marie (Peterson) Schreiter. Steve will be remembered for having a heart of gold. He had a passion for his Harley and NASCAR, both enjoyed in the presence of good friends. Steve attended St. Joseph Grade School, Wilson Jr. High and Appleton High School-West. He was employed over the years by Automotive Supply, Presto Products and most recently R.G.L. Steve will be sadly missed by his parents; Tom and Marie Schreiter; his wife: Tresa; brothers: Tim (Tracy) and Dave (Bobbie) Schreiter; sisters; Judy (Terry) Otto and Jeanne (Don) Pappas; stepchildren: Nicole (Jesus) and Brady and step-grandsons: Mateo and Jayden. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lawrence & Alice Schreiter and Harvey & Hilda Peterson and Aunt Susan (Schreiter) Schramm. A Memorial Service for Steve will be held at 5PM, Thursday, July 23 at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. Friends can visit at the funeral chapel from 3PM until the time of service. Steve lived his life as he wanted to live it. He will be missed by many and is now in God's hand and at peace. ~ Tim, Dave, Judy & Jeanne Squat is a proud member of the Horseman Motorcycle Club. He will be greatly missed by his brothers & sisters of the Club. Love you, big brother!
