  Elizabeth (Betty) Elizabeth Seidl, 86, Algoma, died Friday, June 22, 2007. She was born in Tonet on July 17, 1920, and was the daughter of Joseph and Minnie Jonet. On July 27, 1944, she married Alois Seidl in Tonet at St. Martin's Church. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Rosary Society for many years. Betty enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, and making quilts. Betty and Alois worked the family dairy farm together for 48 years. She was an avid reader and instilled the importance of education for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband, Alois, of 62 years; Donna (Daniel) Zastrow, Marie (Dwight) Hurley, Alois Jr. (Lois) Seidl, Ginny (Eddie) Baum, Charmaine (Steven) Sullivan, and Sue Ann (Rick) Kinstetter; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Rory Sullivan, and one son-in-law, John Wilquet. Betty was from a family of eight children. Surviving are Clara Balza, Sturgeon Bay; Martha Annoye, Luxemburg; Barbara Jandrin, Algoma; Marie Rollin, Green Bay and Ceil LeCaptain, Forestville; sister-in-law, Viola Seidl, Kewaunee, and brother-in-law, Charles Seidl, Kewaunee. She was preceeded in death by her sister, Lorraine Ruben; her brother, Peter Jonet; sisters-in-law, Lucy Jonet, Mabel Seidl, Judy Seidl and brothers-in-law, Elmer Balza, Harry Annoye, Lionel Rubens, Francis Jandrin, Lee Rollin, Sylvester Seidl, and Norbert Seidl. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25, 2007, 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Algoma. Visitation will be Sunday, June 24, 2007, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Schinderle Funeral Home. Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Entombment at the Shrine of Good Shepard, Bay Settlement. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Algoma Long Term Care.
