  Marjorie (Carney) Liebzeit, age 94, of 210 S. Parkway Drive, Brillion, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, June 18, 2007, at her home. She was born July 8, 1912, in the town of Stockbridge, daughter of the late John and Mayme (Comerford) Carney. She was married on May 11, 1932, to Roland Liebzeit in Stockbridge. She farmed with her husband until 1958 and then worked for Chilton Metal Products and the Ariens Company in Brillion. She was a member of Holy Family Parish in Brillion, the Christian Mothers, and the Brillion Senior Citizens. She is survived by her children: Colleen (Clarence) Hoerth, Chilton; James Liebzeit and friend Nancy Diedrich, Hilbert; Jerome Liebzeit and friend Lynn Propson, Hilbert; Carol Reese, Brillion; Donald (Jeanette) Liebzeit, Brillion; 30 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren and four sisters-in-law: Erna, Rae, Edith, and Verla Liebzeit all of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland on June 24, 1996, a daughter Mary Rose, a grandson Ray Liebzeit, five great-grandchildren, a son-in-law Lowell Reese, two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Helen Carney and Cliff and Alvina Carney, four brothers-in-law Merlin, Edgar, John and Henry Liebzeit. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 West Ryan St. in Brillion. The Reverend Matt Simonar will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and then at the Church on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass. There will be a prayer service at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. The family would like to extend special thanks to the entire staff at Garrow Villa and Calumet County Hospice for the excellent care and compassion given to Mother.
