  Bernard J. Ott, age 87, of N2549 S. Tower Rd. Chilton, died on Sunday, M ay 2, 2004 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born on Februa ry 3, 1917 in the town of Brothertown son of the late John and Rosa (Simo n) Ott. He married Marion Birschbach on June 2, 1948 in Mt. Calvary; she p receded him in death on October 2, 1989. He and his wife farmed in the to wn of Brothertown for many years and he also retired from the Lake-to-La ke Dairy in Kiel. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho, a member of t he Catholic Family, where he served as president, the Knights of Columbu s, Catholic Knights, the German American Club, and the Eagles Post #1288. He is survived by a brother: Joe (Thelma) Ott of BellePlaine, MN; seven ch ildren: Mary Jane (Edward) Harris of Appleton, Jerry (Sue) Ott of Appleto n, Tom (Linda) Ott of Chilton, John (Barb) Ott of Chilton, Jim Ott of Chil ton and special friend Nell, Leo (Laurie) Ott of New Holstein, Lorri (Do n) Walber of Chilton; 14 grandchildren: Rebecca Harris and fiance Jayson J ung of Stevens Point, Christopher Ott of Hill City, SD, Joe Ott of Appleto n, Shawn Ott of Chilton, Holly Ott of Appleton, Katherine and Michael O tt of Chilton, Emily Ott of Chilton, Jamie and Jeremy Ott of New Holstei n, Tanya Partridge of Neenah, Tiffany Partridge of Chilton, Richard and Ta scha Partridge of Chilton; three great-grandchildren: Brandi Adams of Neen ah, Destiny Mayfield of Neenah, and Mac Arthur of Neenah; two step-grandch ildren: Tom (Tracy) Harris of Lecanto, FL, Larry (Sam Chin) Harris of Fo rt Stewart, GA; two step-great-grandchildren: Nicholas Harris of GA, and E lizabeth Harris and a special friend Irene Peppinger of Algoma. He was preceded in death by his wife; three sisters: Marcella Konen, Luci na Geiser, and Alvina Ott; and a brother, Rev. Leo Ott. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Holy Tr inity Catholic Church in Jericho with the Rev. Thomas Akpen officiating. B urial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at W ieting Family Funeral Home, 411 W. Main St. Chilton, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. a nd again on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of servic e.
