Yaeger, Bernice C. "BeBe" Bernice C. "BeBe" Yaeger, of Menasha, age 80, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Bernice was born October 24, 1926, at the Vogt Homestead in Fremont where she spent her childhood. She was a high school graduate of the Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond du Lac. BeBe was united in marriage to Arnold W. Yaeger in 1946, and he preceded her in death on January 8, 1964. Prior to her retirement, Bernice was a certified nursing assistant at Parkview Health Center in Oshkosh. BeBe enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, knitting slippers for her family and friends, and watching the birds, especially hummingbirds, and squirrels play in her backyard. BeBe was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Survivors include her children: David (Susan) Yaeger, Cher (Yaeger) Limle, Randall (Kelli) Yaeger, and Timothy (Pam) Yaeger; her grandchildren: Tammy (Justin) Zastrow, Jessica, Jason, Devin, Vanessa, Tashana, Janika, and James Yaeger; her great-grandchildren: Alison, Ashley, Peyton, and Matthew Zastrow, Erica Nason, Antonio Yaeger, and Kasaiyah Noel; her sisters and brother: Kenneth Vogt, Lois (Gordon) Sommer, and Alice (Jerry) Schmidt. BeBe is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her "adopted" daughter Camie Sanders, and her pet grandchildren at home, whom she had a special love for, Montana, Miss Dallas, Houston, and Kiki Dee. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elsie (Kapitzke) Vogt; her husband, Arnold W. Yaeger; her sister, Eris Vogt; her brother, Robert Vogt; her sister-in-law, Millie Vogt; and her great-granddaughter, Alyssa Zastrow. Funeral services for Bernice will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, downtown chapel, with Rev. Judy Deckert officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, and again from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the funeral home. Mom was a gentle, loving, soft spoken woman who never had a bad word for anyone. She had a wonderful sense of humor that everyone who knew her found it enchanting and very funny. Many were the times that we laughed so hard at things she would come out with. Dear Mom, It was a privilege and an honor to have you for my Mom, and to take care of you as you took care of me too. I was the lucky one as I had told you so many times because I had you to live with me all those beautiful years. I miss you so much. I will love you until the day I die and beyond.
