Alverta M. Federwitz, 88, formerly of Brillion, died on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Rennes Health Center, Appleton. She was born on Aug. 6, 1919, in Collins, daughter of the late Ernest & Anna (Schroeder) Wagner. She married Rueben Federwitz on Nov. 16, 1940, at Collins. She farmed with her husband until moving to Brillion. Alverta had a very strong faith and love for her family. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Isensee and Cindy Raatz, both of Appleton; five grandchildren, Larry (Rebecca) Isensee, Sheri (Greg) West, Scott Isensee, Andrew Raatz, and Stephanie (Jason) Gagnon; and 11 great grandchildren, Amy, Alex, and Sam Isensee, Michael, Corey, Erin, Daniel and Kaitlyn West, Dakota Raatz, Jonah and Hannah Gagnon. She was preceded in death by her husband in December of 1977, and her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at 3 p.m. at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
