  Lawrence J. Johnson, age 57, of Weyauwega, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at his home. He was born December 27, 1951, in Appleton, WI, son of Frank and Virginia (Rhodes) Johnson. Lawrence graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School with the class of 1970. He attended UW-Oshkosh and had been employed at the Neenah Foundry since 1971. He enjoyed traveling and photography. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. Lawrence is survived by his mother, Virginia, Weyauwega; three brothers: David (Rose) Johnson, James (Linda) Johnson, and Robert Johnson, all of Oshkosh; a sister, Ann (George) Caldwell, Portage County; aunts, nieces, nephews, grandnephews and a grandniece, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Bertin Samsa OFM Cap officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
