Joseph Charles Taugner Jr., 97, passed away peacefully on Friday March 6, 2009, at St. Paul Villa in Kaukauna. He was born January 10, 1912, in North Dakota, the son of Joseph and Veronica Raestaetter Taugner. On October 22, 1932, he was united in marriage to Irma Guth in Milwaukee. The Taugner family moved to Berlin in 1954 where Joe owned Miracle Printing Co. They later moved to the Fox Valley. Joe founded Badger Graphic Sales in the early 1970's. He and Irma spend their winters in Yuma, AZ and later in Panama City, FL, with many friends and family. Joe was a Paul Harris Fellow, and past president of the Berlin Rotary Club, a past Master of Berlin Masonic Lodge #38 F. & A.M., and a member of First Methodist Church in Appleton. Surviving are his son, Bruce (Anita), Appleton; his daughter, Gayle, Oshkosh; grandchildren, Jeff (Cindy) Taugner, Jennifer (David) Weast; Five great grandchildren; a brother Donald Taugner and sister Annie Almen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma on July, 15 2006; his parents; and brothers and sisters. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Inumment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral chapel on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be given to Berlin Masonic Lodge. Barbola Funeral Chapel 282 E.
