  Kaeser, James H. "Jim" James Kaeser, of Neenah, age 69, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on July 14, 1939, in Appleton, the son of the late Harold and Mildgitha (Weber) Kaeser. Jim served his country with the U.S. Air Force. On December 21, 1971, he married Nila Elliott at Zion Christian Church. He was a route driver with Zaug's Vending from 1978 until his retirement in 1998. Jim enjoyed WIR drag racing and NASCAR. He loved golfing, being outdoors and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Jim was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Neenah. He is survived by his loving wife, Nila Kaeser; children: Ted Kaeser; Patty (Scott) Robenolt; David (Cyndi) Kaeser; David (special friend Lindsay) Zink; Todd (Lori) Kaeser; Pam (Jason) Johnson and Tammy (Todd) Hank; son-in-law, Mike Hammel; thirteen grandchildren: Cameron, Brandon, Zakk, Kandace, April, Adam, Raven, Kristen, Brittini, Ashley, Ciera, Morgan and Jacob; great-grandson, Aiden; sisters and brother: Mary (Jerry) Hein; Ruth (Don) Nelson; Sarah (David) Roberts; Tom (special friend Elizabeth) Kaeser and Chris (Don) Preissner. Jim is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles Kaeser, niece Amy Roberts and his daughter Laurie Hammel. The memorial service for James will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2009, at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 809 S. Commercial Street, Neenah. The Rev. Cath Mode will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. Special thanks to Dr. Avi Bar-Lev and staff from the Martha Siekman Cancer Center, Kathy with ThedaCare at Home and the ICU nurses and the Oncology Unit at Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center for their care and support.
