  Schmeltzer, Ruth H. Ruth, age 93, of Appleton, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010. She was born January 10, l917, in Marinette, daughter of the late Edward and Martha (Hackbarth) Falk. She married Raymond Schmeltzer on October 3, 1946, sharing 47 years together before his death April 28, 1994. Ruth was employed by Zwicker Knitting Mills for 20 years before she retired. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Ruth was an avid Packer Fan and she especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Ruth is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Mary Jungen, Appleton; JoAnne and Mark Ebben, Appleton; two sisters: Irene Anderson, Marinette, and Edna Garon, Marinette; three grandchildren: Debra (Eric) Jack; Paul (Vicki) Jungen and Robert Ebben; two great-grandchildren: Katelyn and Natalie Jugen and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Eric Jungen; three brothers: Lloyd Falk, Harold (Marie) Falk and Thomas Falk; two brothers-in-law: Darrell Anderson and Robert Garon. Services will be held at 12 noon, Monday, April 26, 2010, at First English Lutheran Church, 326 E. North St., with Rev. Michael Dismer officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
