Barbara Hart Lehmann, 60, passed away on October 12, 2010. She was born in Neenah, WI to Edward and Helen Hart on January 28, 1950, and was raised in Menasha where she attended the public school system, graduating with the Menasha High School Class of 1968. In 1969 she married Gene Lehmann and in 1970 gave birth to her only child, Chad M. Lehmann. Barbara worked at the Wisconsin Tissue Mills for 22 years before resigning in 1996. Barbara spent several winters in Venice FL, where she enjoyed spending time with friends at the local dog park, and volunteering at the Suncoast Humane Society in Englewood. Barbara was an avid golfer, and spent many days with her ladies golf league, and never missed watching a Green Bay Packers game. She had many friends and neighbors whom she adored, and as is always the case with good friends and neighbors, each was always happy to help the other in time of need. She held them in her heart, and often spoke of their generosity and kindness. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and other extended family. She is survived by her son, Chad, his wife Julie, and their daughter Mackenzie, residing in Greenville, and her brother, Stephen, of Sun Prairie, WI. Per Barbara's wishes, no formal services will be held. An informal Memorial Remembrance will be held in Barbara's honor at the Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah, WI, on Saturday, May 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. Because of her love for animals, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to do so make a donation to the Fox Valley Humane Association, or to an Animal Shelter of your choice.
