  Charlotte Toennessen, 94, Menasha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 1, 1919, in Menasha, daughter of Constantine and Matilda (Jung) Kolasinsky. Charlotte married Maurice "Biff" Toennessen on October 6, 1945, in Menasha. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2010. She was a member of St. Mary Parish in Menasha. Charlotte is survived by her children: Mary (Peter) Krautkramer, Winneconne; and John (Valerie) Toennessen, Appleton; a son-in-law, John Reuter; seven grandchildren: Jack (Lisa) Reuter, Bill (Susan) Reuter, Rachel Rausch, Peter (Bridget) Krautkramer, Rebecca Toennessen, Stacey (Samuel) Darling, and Sarah (Eric) Johnson; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters: Mary Kolasinsky and Rita Foster; many other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Charlotte was further preceded in death by a son, Ronald Toennessen; daughter, Norita Reuter; four brothers: Carl (Bernice), Joe (Nancy), Frank, and Al Kolasinsky; a sister, Dolores (Chester) Makofski; and a brother-in-law, Gene Foster. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha, with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated to Mother & Unborn Baby Care, 526 W. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton, WI 54911. Charlotte's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Affinity Hospice for all their wonderful care of mom. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent from June 17 to June 18, 2014
