Ruby Ann Mary Schneider, age 76, of New London, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. She was born November 27, 1935, in the Town of Maple Creek, the daughter of the late Louie and Anna (Siwdzinski) Young. Ruby was united in marriage to Robert Lee Schneider on October 4, 1958, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Bear Creek. Together they enjoyed gardening, fishing and working around the yard. She is survived by her husband; Robert, four children; Gordon (Betsy), New London, Richard (Jennine), Brighton, CO, Bonnie Felts, New London and Robert (Wanda), Shiocton. Ruby is further survived by 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters; Victoria Schultz and Lois Heidemann and a brother; Ivan Young. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter; Beverly, four brothers, five sisters and a nephew. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bear Creek with Fr. John "Jack" Mullarkey presiding. Ruby will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at the church on Friday.
