  Paul J. Freimuth, age 78, formerly of 523 Pleasant Lane, Kellnersville, died early on Thursday morning, Jan. 20, 2011, at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc. Paul was born on June 21, 1932, in the town of Franklin, son of the late Charles and Emma (Braun) Freimuth. He graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1950. Paul married the former June Kerscher on Nov. 6, 1954, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Francis Creek. Paul was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville and the Holy Name Society. He served as a member of the cemetery committee for St. Joseph and St. Wenceslaus Cemeteries for 30 years and president from 1982 until 1999. Paul was a former member and treasurer of the Kellnersville Fire Department, Kellnersville Senior Citizens, Kellnersville Betterment Association and the Catholic Financial Life Branch No. 86 of Francis Creek. Survivors include his loving wife: June Freimuth, Kellnersville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Rick (Patti) Freimuth, Brillion; Mark (Barb) Freimuth, St. Augustine, Fla.; three granddaughters: Vanessa Freimuth and her fianc, Justin Schnell; Camrin Freimuth; Jocelyn Freimuth; two stepgrandchildren: Joel Pringle and Andy Pringle; one sister: Jeanette Dewane, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: Marian Poruvcansky, Francis Creek; Marcella Dirkman, Manitowoc. Nieces and nephews include: David Dewane; Janet (Allen) Haws; Ed (Joanne) Skarivoda; Carol (Jim) Anhalt; Francis (Kris) Balzenthal; Bob (Ann) Dirkman; Mike (Pat) Dirkman. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Emma Freimuth; one infant son: David Freimuth; one sister-in-law: Sylvia Balzenthal; four brothers-in-law: Albert Balzenthal, Joe Poruvcansky, and Bob Dewane, Leo Dirkman. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. The Rev. Ronald Colombo will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery.
