  Kaukauna - Theresa Gilbertson, 63, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. Theresa was born on January 26, 1955 to Ronald and Berniece Young. On June 15, 1974 she was united in marriage to Charles T. Gilbertson. Theresa was a hardworking, stubborn and inspirational person. She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends and was always there for anyone who needed her. Theresa was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend and the times spent with her will always be cherished. She was especially looking forward to being a great grandmother in October. Theresa is survived by her husband Charles T. "Chuck" Gilbertson, three children; Carla (Chris) Busse, Erin (Nathan) Schleicher, Charles E. "Chuck E." Gilbertson, grandchildren; Anthony (special friend, Kaylee Wiltse) Stone, Christopher Busse Jr., and Colton Busse, one great grandchild on the way, siblings; Colleen (Tom) Brazee, Julie (Roy) Mankovecky, Laurie (Mark) Rogers, Charlene (Steve) Babbits, Mary (Jim) Keller, mother-in-law Ethel C. Gilbertson, sister-in-law Linda (fiancée, Dennis Smiley) Gilbertson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law Elder Gilbertson, a grandson Caleb Busse, brother Alan Young and niece Ann Young. A memorial service for Theresa will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 12:00 PM at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 124 W. 10th St., Kaukauna. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com. The family would like to thank Dr Augelli, his team, and the ICU nurses and staff at Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
