On Feb 23, 1963 he married Susanne Lepak in Appleton. Hilary retired from the Kimberly Clark Corporation. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theatre. Survivors include his wife Susanne, Athens and his sister-in-law Lucille Roberts.
