  Appleton - Gale A. Bergsbaken, 76, passed away Wednesday evening, March 7, 2018 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. He was born March 9, 1941, son of the late Jared and Ella (Zuleger) Bergsbaken. He served in the US Army for two years from 1964-1966. Gale worked and retired from Murphy Concrete Construction having worked as a redimix driver. Over the years he enjoyed ice fishing, sturgeon spearing, deer hunting, watching the Navarino Rangers baseball team, and racing stock car. He was an avid NASCAR, Green Bay Packers, and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Gale is survived by his brother-in-law, Arlyn Pues; nieces: Tammy (Ron Schemmel) Zehren, Bobbi Jo (Craig) Huss, and Kelly (Dave Small) Prosser; further survived by great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Pues. Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 11:30 am until the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
