  Mary, age 99, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010, at Heritage Woods. She was born on February 25, 1911, in Chilton, to the late Henry and Anna (Green) Gloudemans. Mary graduated from Appleton High School in 1928. She attended Lawrence College and graduated from the Moser Business College in Chicago. She was united in marriage to James L. Hobbins on June 14, 1937, sharing fifty-seven years together. He preceded her in death December 23, 1994. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton, a life member of St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary and for over forty years a sustaining member of the Christ Child Society. She was a competitive bridge player, a member of the American Contract Bridge League and also a member of the Appleton Duplicate Bridge Club. Mary is survived by a sister-in-law: Germaine Gloudemans, of Appleton, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Mathilda (Lee) Fischer and Ethel (Ted) Merkel and five brothers: Andrew, Raymond, Alvin, Norbert and infant Willard Gloudemans. The funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St. on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 11 a.m. The visitation will be held in the Sacred Heart Room from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Mary would like memorials to be directed to LEAVEN or the memorial of your choice. Brettschneider- Trettin-Lederer 606 N.
