  Vanevenhoven, Rita H.Formerly of Kaukauna, age 84, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2002 at Colo ny Oaks Care Center in Appleton. Rita was born in Kaukauna on October 2 9, 1917 daughter of the late Matthew and Frieda (Walker) Hartzheim. On Sep tember 5, 1935, she married Sylvester Vanevenhoven in Kaukauna; he preced ed her in death in 1990. Rita enjoyed crocheting and caring for her grandc hildren in her younger years. She is survived by a daughter, Diane (Kerr y) Thon, Kaukauna; four sons: Sylvester "Bud" (Margaret "Mickey") Vanevenh oven, Kaukauna; Ronald Vanevenhoven, Glendale, California; Roger "Pete" (M ary) Vanevenhoven, Kaukauna; David Vanevenhoven, Appleton and his fiance L isha; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Pat Vanev enhoven, Appleton; a brother-in-law, Cliff Vanevenhoven, Kaukauna; and t wo special nephews: Jimmy (Mary) Hopfensperger, and Bobby Hopfensperger. R ita was preceded in death by her husband, brothers: Leo and George. The fu neral liturgy for Rita will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at ST. MA RY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. 7th Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Robert Uduluts ch O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
