  Randerson, Gerald G. "Jerry"Gerald G. "Jerry" Randerson, age 86, of Appleton, passed away on March 1 3, 2004 at Appleton Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Jerry was bo rn on June 17, 1917 in Freedom, WI to the late George and Josephine Rander son. Jerry married Helen Crowe in 1942 and she passed away in 1972. On Aug ust 1, 1985 he married Bernice Ulman at St. Thomas More Catholic Churc h. A salesman his whole life he worked in the soft drink and clothing indu stries until retiring in 1987.In 1959 he founded the Appleton "Serra Club" International, which is an or ganization of Catholic lay men who help promote vocations to priesthoo d. He was also a devoted member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and mem ber of Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of and past preside nt of the Appleton Jaycees. Upon retiring he and Bernice enjoyed traveli ng during winters to Hawaii and Florida. He enjoyed spending summers wi th family and friends at his cottage on Boundary Lake. He was also an av id trout fisherman, deer hunter and gardener. Jerry was a 50 year season t icket holder and devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers.Survivors include his wife, Bernice; children: Gerald (Linda) Randerson, A ppleton; Sharon (Tom) Wenneman, Appleton; Robert Randerson, Appleton; Jam es Randerson, Appleton; Mary Bungert, Greenville; 13 grandchildren, thr ee great-grandchildren; sister, Eileen (Norbert) Van Wychen, Kaukauna; sis ter-in-law, Margie Randerson; step-children: Judy (Gene) Pittz, Clifford ( Dee) Ulman, Dennis (Betty) Ulman and Louis (Pat) Ulman; six step-grandchil dren and ten great-step-grandchildren; further survived by many nieces, ne phews, family and friends.Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Helen; brothers: M elvin, Eugene and Patrick; and his sister, Lucille.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 18, 20 04 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1810 N. McDonald St.) Ap pleton with Father Gerald R. Falk officiating. Visitation will be on Wedne sday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service all at the f uneral home. On Thursday morning there will also be visitation from 9:30 a .m. until the time of service at church. Burial will take place in St. Jos eph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.
