  Appleton and Readfield Men Die From Injuries Suffered In Recent Traffic Accidents Joseph A Weber, 38, 745 W. Prospect avenue, who was injured by a taxi on the night of Aug. 5, died about 1 o'clock Saturday evening. The traffic fatality is the third in the city, of Appleton and the eighth in Outagamie county this year. Two other traffic fatalities were reported in the Appleton area during the weekend. Daniel Kohl, 28, Readfield, injured in Winnebago county Aug. 9, died at Theda Clark hospital, Neenah, at 9:30 Saturday night Emmory Safford, 28, Oshkosh, died at Mercy hospital, Oshkosh, early Sunday of injuries suffered in a traffic accident on Highway 110 north of Oshkosh about 2 o'clock in the morning. Weber was injured fatally in an accident involving a taxi driven by Ronald Barrett, 24, 311 First street Neenah, on Prospect avenue, about 1 .25 on the night of Aug. 5. Weber had stepped from a taxi on the north side of the street and was crossing the avenue when hit by the second taxi driven by Barrett who was traveling east according to police. Calls Inquest District Attorney Raymond P. Dohr said an inquest will be held and a coroner's jury viewed the body. Members of the jury are Walter Steenis, M. Peerenboom, Mark Baumgartner, Mike Jacobs, Adam Limpert and Frank Ponschock. Mr. Weber was born in the town of Osborn, Outagamie county, Jan. 12, 1901, and lived in Appleton the last 27 years. He was employed by the Valley Beverage company and formerly operated a tavern at 118 S. Walnut street He was a member of St Joseph's church and the Holy Name society. Survivors are the widow; two brothers, Matt J. and John M^ Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. Theodore Verhoeven, Freedom; Mrs. Theodore Lorenz, Appleton. The funeral will be held at 8:30 Wednesday morning at Wichmann Funeral home with services at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery chapel The body will be at the funeral home from this afternoon to the hour of services. The rosary will be recited there at 7:30 tonight and by the Holy Name society at the same time tomorrow evening. Prospect avenue, were held this morning at Wichmann Funeral home and at St Joseph's church. Burial was in cemetery chapel. A solemn requiem high mass was held, with the Rev. Father Myron as celebrant, the Rev. Father Gabriel as deacon, and theRev. Father Ivan as sub-deacon. Members of the Holy Name society attended.
