  Mother of Marshfield Dentist Dies Friday Noon at Stratford Stratford -- Mrs. Emilie [Amelia] Laessig, 81, died at 12:30 p.m. Frid ay at the home of her d aughter, Mrs. Joseph Bauer.The body will be in state at the Sauter Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Sunda y, when it will be ta ken to Zion Lutheran Church, where funeral servic es will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o clock by the Rev. T.E. Dieme r. Burial will be made in Webertown cemetery.Mrs. Laessig, nee Frick, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Fric k, was born in Germa ny Nov. 30, 1865, and came to America in 1880, settli ng in Athens. On April 6, 1884, she wa s married at Wausau to Edward Laes sig, who died March 16, 1929.She lived at Merrill from the time of her marriage to 1899, when they ca me to Stratford to fa rm.Surviving are five children, Mrs. Joseph Bauer, Stratford, Henry and Willi am Laessig, both o f the town of Eau Pleine; Edmund Laessig, West Allis; a nd Dr. H. L. Laessig, Marshfield denti st.Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a broth er Frank Frick, Athens , and a sister Mrs. Bertha Miller, Oregon, Wis..
