  Mrs. Anton Jansen died at her home here Tuesday morning after a protacted illness of dropsy. Johanna Pennings was born at Gemert, N. Brabant in 1836 and came to Wisconsin with her parents at the age of 13. In 1857 she married at Green Bay to Anton Janssen who died 4 years ago and with whom she had eight children, all of whom survive her, amotng them being Mrs. Th. Berken of De Pere, Peter, Gerrit and John of Minneapolis, and the others at Little Chute. She is alos survived by two brothers and one sister, John Pennings of Green Bay and Peter Pennings and Mrs. Frank Scray of the town of De Pere. The funeral will be Thursday morning.
